One of the leading financial holding companies is looking for Agile Java Engineers to join a specialized, high-performing team to help them develop a brand-new e-trading platform with trader automation as a core concept. For this company, technology together with agile principles and a test-first mindset are at the core of their business – they believe that only thorough the work of their engineers they will be able to consolidate our electronic offering.
Role
This is an extremely unique opportunity to work on an entirely greenfield project. You will be working in a team of Agile engineers to develop a Fixed Income e-trading platform that will essentially remove the need for a human trader. You will be working closely with other scrum teams to help integrate the new platform with the core infrastructure of the company. The code you will write will have a direct impact on the company’s financial performance and will be used by the company on a global scale.
Required
5+ years of commercial experience with Java
Experience working with in a highly agile environment using Scrum, TDD
Strong educational background (ideally a Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering degree)
Test-first mindset and best practices
