About The Role
A globally-renowned finance firm is looking for passionate software crafters to join a brand new core engineering function in NYC. This is a highly prolific team that is directly responsible for championing and driving best practices across the firm, proving the value of well-built software to one of the top finance trading firms in the world.
They are looking for avid believers in lean principles, who are truly passionate about writing clean, robust and well-tested code. You will be working in a tight-knit group of extremely technical Java engineers, led by former conference speakers that are well-known on the Agile and XP circuit.
Requirements
Craft-like approach to building software; a true proponent of modern engineering practices – Agile, TDD, XP and clean code principles
Excellent Java skills
Demonstrable experience building highly scalable, distributed systems
Understanding multithreading and concurrency is desired
Salary
Between $200,000 - $325,000
