About The Role

The Client

Our client is the most performant systematic trading fund globally that is looking to continue its success through a greenfield, bleeding-edge initiative. They are searching for exceptional C++ or Python Quant Developers and Engineers (Junior Developer up to Principal Developer) with expertise in building highly distributed and multithreaded High-Frequency-Trading platforms to take ownership of this project, pioneering the buildout of their brand-new ultra-low latency HFT arm in 2023.


The Role

The position focuses heavily on building trading systems in heavily multithreaded C++ and Python, optimized to achieve low latency, to facilitate and maximize their current domination of global high-frequency/systematic trading markets.

Senior Engineers will have the chance to work closely with the business, including daily interaction with Traders, Quants, and Business Analysts to optimize and scale these bleeding-edge trading systems, trading cross-asset.


Required Qualifications

  • 3.5 GPA or above in a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years in a role within financial services/trading/investment banking.

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in building commercially implemented High-Frequency Trading platforms.

  • Expert use of either Python or C++, or both.

  • If C++ must be a minimum version 14, with strong multithreading experience.

  • A natural passion for clean code, SOLID principles, and Best Practices (Test-Driven Development).

  • Agile processes & practices e.g. Scrum.
