About The Role
C++ Engineer – Top Performing Quant Trading Firm – Up to £250,000 TC
One of the most successful Quant Trading firms globally is looking for a C++ Software Engineer to build out a completely greenfield Cross-Asset Algorithmic Trading Platform and are looking to migrate everything to the cloud (no prior cloud experience is required).
The core trading infrastructure of the firm has been built by the original C++ and Python committee members, capable of handling billions of transactions daily in a fully automated, systematic environment. There are several greenfield projects kicking off but most of which are currently under an NDA.

You will be working for an internationally renowned Quant Trading firm employing sophisticated technology to solve some of finance's most challenging problems. With a flat structure, you will be working with a calibre of engineers to rival the Big Tech firms.
Role
You will be a key stakeholder in the firm's plans to remain at the forefront of finance and technology by building a highly distributed, greenfield, cross-asset algo trading platform with an emphasis on its scalability.
You will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated software in a tech-first setting where the business reports to technology, a hierarchy pivotal for a company responsible for billions of trades daily.
You will own the architectural vision and make decisions in a self-directed manner to analyse and solve complex business and technical problems in a flat structure with no red tape or bureaucracy.
Requirements
3+ years commercial experience in the latest versions of C++ (using STL & Boost).
Experience working on latency-sensitive systems, high-performance C++, or optimisation.
STEM Degree
No prior finance knowledge is needed (it’s the perfect stepping stone into Finance).
