Senior Full Stack Engineer – C#/React
The Client
Our client is a tech-driven powerhouse and globally active blue-chip fund, that is looking to continue their success as one of the most profitable firms per capita through a brand-new, truly unique initiative in 2023.
They are searching for a Full Stack, Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of their 2023 initiative, pioneering the buildout of both the backend and frontend of their new suite of pre and post trade applications. This project is vital to the firms performance over 2023 and coming years, as the platform will be held directly responsible for handling all trading activity firm wide.
The Role
The position is best suited for a senior engineer who considers themselves an expert in both C# and React, with over 5 years of exposure in a financial services-based role.
Senior Engineer will act as the go-to Senior Individual Contributor (opportunity to mentor others), communicating with teams spanning all arms in the firm, from front to middle to back to understand business requirements and deliver cutting-edge tech solutions to business-critical problems.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in a finance-based software engineering role.
Deep expertise in backend C# designing highly scalable systems.
Minimum 3 years of experience with React, developing financial applications.
Minimum bachelor’s degree (GPA 3.5+) in Computer Science, Math, Physics or a related field.
Experience with DevOps processes including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
Agile processes & practices e.g. Scrum.
Passion for Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavioral Driven Development (BDD).
