About The Role
A leading Multi-Strat Hedge Fund is looking for a junior Java engineer to work on their low-latency, pricing and execution platform underpinning their entire front-office remit. Ideally coming from a financial background, they’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate technologist who is eager to learn and enhance their skill set within a fast-paced, front office environment.
Whilst having a massive presence in promoting an opensource community, the current technology stack is Java 14+ and AWS; with no connection to legacy code, you speak directly to stakeholders and traders, gathering requirements to then translate to developing business-critical backend components.

Requirements:
2 years of experience coding with Java 11+
STEM Degree from a university
Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn
