Java Engineer – Billion Dollar FinTech Initiative – NYC

We’re working with an extremely modern fintech firm who are looking for the top software engineers in the market to join their team and help drive a massively funded and genuinely greenfield technology project near its inception.

They are a cutting-edge, billion-dollar fintech firm that is building the next generation of digital fintech consumer products in the market. You will be part of a huge initiative to build out a brand-new digital challenger bank (without having to deal with any legacy code), as they scale and expand it into new geographical markets in the next few years.

You will be building systems from scratch in a cloud-native, microservices environment, with a modern tech stack including Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, React, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.

Requirements

• Over 4+ years’ commercial experience with a JVM language (Java, Scala, Kotlin)

• Understanding of  microservices architecture

• Understanding of dependency injection frameworks      (Spring / SpringBoot, Guice, etc.)

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies

• A keen interest in Cloud      Computing – experience working with GCP, AWS or Azure is highly      beneficial.
