About The Role
We are working with a market-leading hedge fund in the City of London, that is searching for Java engineers to build out a greenfield trade execution platform.
Company and Project:
This company is embarking on a heavily backed project to build an entirely greenfield trade execution system that will underpin the company’s continued progression. As a highly successful hedge fund, their passion for technology is incredibly unique and refreshing, with heavy involvement in opensource technology and Python meet-ups. They also support their engineers’ ambitions and passions through exciting opportunities to regularly experiment with brand-new technologies. You will be working within a flat-structured, open, and collaborative environment, built upon a test-driven culture.
Role:
Leveraging experience in Java, performant systems, and the finance space, you will be building out a trade execution platform, with front-office exposure. Building the software that powers the business, with your key contribution will directly impact the PnL of this company.
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of commercial experience in Java
Exposure to finance
Strong educational background and computer science fundamentals
