About The Role

It’s an entirely greenfield programme of work, being built from the ground up. In terms of technology, you’d be building highly distributed and scalable systems in Java (Spring, Springboot, with exposure to AWS), and products such as a digital bank that’s overtaking Monzo and Starling Bank. This platform is also looking to completely revolutionise and change the cloud computing world through a variety of projects that are currently under NDA. Engineering follows the Spotify Model, allowing you to work on end-to-end systems that give you as much and as little exposure as you like on a variety of projects, whilst maintaining a highly tech-driven Agile approach throughout. This particular client are paying higher than the market standard without front-loading, and they provide a road map of expected increasing salaries and bonuses year on year.

Required Skills:
2+ years of commercial experience coding in Java (Spring, Springboot)
Docker, Kubernetes, AWS are all nice to have, but not necessary.

Polyglot engineers looking to be cross-trained in new technology.
Computer science fundamentals (University degree)
Work Policy:
Fully remote / can come into the office if that is your preference.
