About The Role
A leading fintech firm is looking for an Agila Java Engineer (VP level) to help with the development of a Fixed Income e-trading platform that will essentially remove the need for a human trader. For this company, technology together with agile principles and a test-first mindset are at the core of their business – they believe that only through the work of their engineers they will be able to consolidate their electronic offering.
You will be working on strategically placed front-office projects under one of the most reputable technology leaders in the bank – no other person has more sponsorship from the business to deliver. You will also be involved in building the design of the new platform and integrating it with the core infrastructure of the company.
Required
8+ years of commercial experience with Java
Able to demonstrate previous experience using TDD and best practices for coding
Experience writing multithreaded code in Java
Strong educational background (ideally a Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering degree)
