About The Role
One of the most successful Quant Trading firms globally is looking for a KDB Quant Developer/ Software Engineer to build out a completely greenfield Cross-Asset Algorithmic Trading Platform and is looking to migrate everything to the cloud (no prior cloud experience is required).
The core trading infrastructure of the firm has been built by the core C++ and Python committee members, capable of handling billions of transactions daily in a fully automated, systematic environment. There are several greenfield projects kicking off but most of which are currently under an NDA.

Role
You will be a key stakeholder in the firm's plans to remain at the forefront of finance and technology by building a highly distributed, greenfield, cross-asset algo trading platform with an emphasis on its scalability.
You will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated software in a tech-first setting where the business reports into technology, a hierarchy pivotal for a company responsible for billions of trades daily.
You will own the architectural vision and make decisions in a self-directed manner to analyse and solve complex business and technical problems in a flat structure with no red tape or bureaucracy.
Requirements
Experience building highly distributed and scalable systems.
Development skills using KDB/+
