About The Role
We’re currently working with a globally renowned FinTech , who are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to head up the engineering function for a new Data Science & Analytics division they have created.
This group faces off to the Data Scientists in the Front Office, and has a direct impact on the bottom line. This technology function prospects new, cutting-edge data sources and integrates them into the current Data Lake, allowing the Data Scientists to create more efficient ML models and better trading decisions.
You’ll be leading a small group of data engineers to build a massively distributed data analytics platform completely in AWS, working with a host of modern Big Data tools to push/pull data across the entire firm.
Required Skills
Strong Python programming skills
Experience creating and implementing ETL data pipelines
Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
