About The Role
We are currently working with a leading boutique hedge fund in London that are looking for Lead Java Engineers to help build out a brand-new greenfield platform within the organisation’s front office.
Company
This fund has been founded in the last 10 years and has had a huge amount of success in several different product areas and are now looking to build out a brand-new equities desk. This new area will be a business-critical area of their organisation which will be directly affecting the company’s bottom line.
Role
The role itself is looking Lead Java engineers who will be responsible for working on a central front office platform that is comprised of microservices and the latest cloud-based technologies. The role will entail working with some of the latest bleeding-edge technology in the market right now and have in the last 4 years but a huge investment into the tech they are working with to gain a competitive advantage over their rivals.
Requirements
Expert levels of experience in Java including a deep understanding of Multithreading and concurrency systems.
Experience of working in a distributed, multi-technology, high-volume transaction ecosystem, including OpenShift, Kubernetes, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, Azure or Google cloud.
