Lead Systems Engineer

We’re currently working with a globally renowned finance firm, who is looking for a senior systems engineer to lead out a new team in the Front Office e-Trading technology division.

You will be leading a senior team of systems engineers and be responsible for an exciting renovation of all core infrastructure services in the area. This role provides technical ownership of a wide remit that currently covers over 12,000 machines.

They are looking for an experienced technologist with an excellent understanding of Linux, and a tech-agnostic mindset with a willingness to work with a modern tech stack that includes Python, Golang, OCaml, Ansible, Puppet, Red Hat.

Skills required

•  Strong knowledge of Linux, preferably Red Hat

• Experience with hardware configuration (FPGA)

• Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible,)

• Highly collaborative and driven to deliver outstanding solutions.
