About The Role
I am working with a globally leading Hedge Fund who are looking to onboard Python engineers to build out a new equity algorithmic trading platform entirely from scratch.
You will be working on an entirely greenfield project, as the first piece of code was written in October, within their systematic trading arm. This is the biggest project the firm has worked on in the last 20 years and the calibre of engineers in next to none. They place engineering at the forefront of what they do, offering a scheme called '10% Friday' where you will be allowed to work on any of their Opensource technologies.
Culture is incredibly important to them, operating as a meritocracy where innovation and collaboration are prioritized. They are incredibly flexible in regard to their Work-From-Home policy, prioritising their developers' work-life balance and encouraging a 'family feel' throughout the business.
With the business putting millions of dollars into the project, it presents the opportunity to work with bleeding-edge technology on a platform that will be central to the firm's technological progression.
Required Skills
2+ years of hands-on experience coding in Python.
Strong Computer Science background.
A progressive engineering mentality.
