Company

A Trillion Dollar trading firm is looking for strong Python Engineers to join a brand-new specialized team that focuses on building new trading software to improve existing processes and optimize speed delivery. The company is one of the world's leading independent traders innovating across both traditional and cutting-edge markets all over the world. Their philosophy is that the investment climate is changing, and investors need to create financial legacies that will stand the test of time, which can only be done with the use of technology.


Role

This is an extremely unique opportunity to work on an entirely greenfield project. You will be working with a team of highly experienced engineers to develop a brand-new software system that will enable the immediate execution of orders upon receipt by market makers and specialists. You will also be in charge of integrating the new software with the core infrastructure of the company. The software you will write will be used by the company on a global scale.


Requirements

  • 3 years+ of Python development experience

  • Strong educational background (ideally a Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering degree)

  • Ability to work independently and build distributed systems

  • Passion for solving problems and building things from scratch

  • Strong communication skills and an innovative mind
