Python Platform Engineer – Boutique Market Leading Hedge Fund - London

We are working with a market-leading hedge fund in the City of London, that is searching for low-level python engineers to build out a greenfield business critical ecosystem.

Company and Project:

This company is embarking on a heavily backed project to build an entirely greenfield ecosystem for their algorithmic trading platform in order to enable their future successes. As a large hedge fund, their passion for technology is incredibly unique and refreshing, with heavy involvement in open-source and Python meet-ups. They also support their engineers’ ambitions and passions through exciting opportunities to regularly experiment with brand-new technologies. You will be working within a flat-structured, open, and collaborative environment, built upon a test-driven culture.

Role:

Leveraging experience within Python, Docker and Kubernetes, your position will enable you to work closely with Quants and PM's if you desire. Whilst supporting the software that powers the business, your key contribution will be directly impacting the PnL of the Business.

Requirements:

• Previous exposure to Python (does not have to be core technology if willing to cross-train)

• Experience with Kubernetes

• Strong educational background
