About The Role
I am currently hiring on behalf of one of the most exciting FinTechs globally, who are looking for passionate Scala developers to build out an entirely GREENFIELD in-house order management system that will enhance and provide real-time pricing and market data. The environment at this organization is completely different from anything on the market right now. They promote innovation and creativity, with no real red tape or bureaucracy allowing for the core engineering squad to be at the forefront of this build-out.
You will have an opportunity to work on a highly complex, highly efficient system that handles the entire core functionality for all the firm’s revenue streams, using a technology stack of Scala 2.0+, Java 11+, Spring, Spring boot, SQL and AWS.
We are hiring for an Associate position with a base salary from $100,000 - $150,000 + Bonus!
Requirements
Excellent programming skills (Primarily in Scala or other JVM languages)
Additional experience with Scalaz, Cats, Reactive streams, FS2, Slick, Guava, Mockito, Junit or ScalaTest are a bonus but a necessity.
A passion for well tested and clean software, Agile engineering methiodides and best practices
