About The Role
The Client
Our client is a FinTech and trading powerhouse, a hedge fund that has based its trading initiative on tech-driven strategies and succeeded due to its love for Test-Driven Development. They are searching for an exceptional, hands-on, Senior Software Engineer to be the first core engineering hire in their newly formed Low Latency Trading Team scaling a bleeding-edge trading platform, pushing the limits of Java development and TDD/best practices in the Front-Office Space.
The Role
The position calls for a veteran software engineer who wants to maintain their time coding every day, is in touch with the latest bleeding-edge JVM technologies, and shares a genuine passion for Testing as much as possible. The ideal candidate will be truly passionate for TDD and maintain high test coverage of their current systems while developing scalable solutions in Java for low-latency e-trading purposes.
Required Qualifications
Test-Driven Development and Best Practices Fanatic needed!
Minimum 5+ years as a java engineer.
Agile processes & practices e.g. Scrum.
