About The Role
We are working with one of the most successful strats groups in the city of London looking for senior C++ and Python quantitative developers to build out a brand new analytics engine.
Company
A leading fund that is most successful in fixed income but is looking to expand out into several new asset classes. Their office is based in the city and there are currently only 15-20 people within this front office team. This company is exploring multiple avenues to extend its strong position and continuously improve and invest in its technology, as they understand it is conducive to its continued market success.
Role
They are currently looking for senior C++ and Python quant developers to help build out critical aspects of their greenfield cross-asset analytics engine, which underpins every single trade in the bank. They have recruited some of the best minds in finance to help scale out this project, and the compensation and working flexibility reflect their commitment to continuously improving the calibre of engineering. This is a great opportunity to grow closer to the business and provide aspiring quants with the opportunity to take on more business-focussed work. They are looking for an individual who will help the desk realise and surpass its full ambition, by accepting responsibility and driving improvement. This would be an incredibly strategic hire for them on what is the most invested project in the company, just as they are about to onboard a new business initiative to their core platform.
Requirements
5+ years of commercial experience with C++ and/or Python
Experience working in the front office alongside quants and traders
Experience building frameworks and systems surrounding quant libraries, improving the efficiency of systems and implementing models
Exposure to C++ 14 or 17
Great communication skills to work in a fast-paced environment
