About The Role
Top Secret Project – Brand New Pioneering Technology House –up to £380,000 TC
The Company
We are currently working on a strategic hire at a brand new, pioneering technology house that’s already rivaling FAANG companies including Google and Meta. The company is incredibly heavily financially backed by a world-renowned financial organisation, making it one of the most highly funded technology offerings in the city. The project at hand will revolutionise the cloud computing world, it is top secret and currently under NDA!
Role
You will be joining a brand-new team as one of the original members, working on highly distributed and scalable systems, utilising primarily in Java 19, Springboot, Kafka and AWS. As a valued team member, you will be applying your technical skills to all aspects of the full development lifecycle, with the opportunity to be upskilled into the latest technology including Cloud computing and Opensource tech. This offering does not currently exist in the business and is being built completely from the ground up.
Required Skills
7+ years of hands-on commercial experience coding in an object-orientated programming language
Must be happy coding in Java – will cross-train!
Computer Science or STEM University Degree
Experience working with cloud technologies: AWS/GCP/Azure
Nice to have
Commercial experience deploying to a public cloud using Docker/Kubernetes
Desire to solve complex technical problems end to end
