About The Role
A world-renowned, technologically driven Market Maker is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to spearhead the buildout of one of their most highly funded projects to date. They’ve just signed off millions of dollars to aid the development of a brand-new highly distributed, trading platform, using Python 3.0+, Kafka, MongoDB in a multi-cloud environment.
You will have autonomy across the entire initiative from architecture design to development for their Front Office, Pricing, research, and analytics platform. The environment at this firm is very rare, as they’re one of the few buy-sides firms in the city that truly champion the use of a bleeding edge suite of Opensource technology.
Required Skills:
3+ years of commercial experience coding in Python 3.0+.
Must have Front-Office experience across any asset class.
Additional skills across one of the following, Kafka, MongoDB, Django.
Cloud Exposure with one of the following, AWS, GCP, Azure
Nice to have:
Good design and problem-solving skills.
Inside of Finance career history
Computer science fundamentals (University degree)
