About The Role
A Trillion Dollar Asset Manager is looking for a senior engineer with a background in commodities to build out a brand-new, next-generation CTRM platform. This group is going to be a fundamental pillar in this firm’s major push into commodities.
They’re looking to build the platform itself in .Net but integrate and connect it to the already existing systems around it in Python, there’s the opportunity to be cross-trained and learn either .Net or Python, and it’s all cloud-hosted.
This group is incredibly culture-driven and the technical landscape is a real dream. They get fully funded courses they can undertake by choice once a month and a huge amount of freedom to leverage and incorporate open-source tech.
This initiative has huge financial backing and the firm is globally renowned so we’ve never had problems with compensation.
Required:
5+ years OOP development experience in an enterprise environment, preferably C# or .Net
Strong Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering (or a related subject) background
Exposure to CTRM commercially
Able to work in a modern software engineering environment, using Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools including Scrum, git and CI/CD.
