About The Role
A globally-renowned Quant Trading firm is building out its first London presence and is looking for a Senior Engineer to build out a brand new suite of highly scalable Artifactory management systems which runs across petabytes worth of data and has a worldwide end-user base of over 35,000 developers. My client is looking for someone to take full ownership of this platform and make technology decisions throughout the whole SDLC lifecycle.
You would be working in a front-office technology team who are looking for an experienced engineer to help build a suite of next-generation, cloud-native applications. In this role, you will help engineer and develop new capabilities using modern technologies for use by their Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Analysts.
This is a senior hands-on role, providing opportunities to solve complex business, logic, data, and technical challenges in an incredibly high-churn environment. As a key contributor throughout the entire product lifecycle, You will be required to think outside the box and bring cutting-edge technology in-house.
Primary technologies: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, C#, Python, and Artifactory management packages.
Required Skills:
Strong programming skills in Python
Strong educational background in Computer Science, Maths, or any STEM-related degree
Interest in Computer Science fundamentals and buildout of highly distributed, scalable, and robust systems.
