About The Role
One of the top market data firms in the world is looking for an exceptional for senior data developer to join a completely greenfield initiative to build a Cloud data platform that enables teams to create products at scale and power application modernization plans.
You will be designing, testing, and deploying a data platform for analytical processing, as well as transaction processes that will handle millions of inputs daily with a focus on distributed systems and high-volume ingestion. You will be working in a high-performance environment, directly beside some of the most senior members of the firm learning directly from them, while continuously improving performance, functionality, and stability of the system. The environment is built around cloud and microservices as they have revamped their entire tech structure and are focused on creating a truly next-gen product that utilizes the latest opensource technology such as Snowflake.
Required
5+ years’ experience in Java or Python
Comprehensive experience with Kafka, ETL processes and SQL
Experience in building data lakes
Analytical skills – Ability to troubleshoot and logically assess problems and determine solutions
Motivated and enthusiastic individual
