About The Role
We are working with one of the top Financial Institutions on a disruptive tech project that has over $10bn in total funding. This client is looking to establish a brand-new FinTech business solely focused on releasing cutting-edge products and services that will drive the growth of start-ups and venture capital firms. The ultimate aim is to leverage their portfolio of top corporate clients like Amazon, Nike, Airbnb, and Netflix in funding these start-ups by also establishing a distributed network hosted in AWS, to connect start-ups with these established Tech powerhouses.
This Greenfield initiative is still in its infant stages, with the most critical hire being a Senior Java Engineer into the core engineering chapter that will be rolling out the underlying platform for this new offering, as well as joining the architectural team that will be making vital decisions on how they can incorporate opensource tech into this system and all future applications and products.
Requirements:
Strong background (5+ years) in Java.
Passion and appetite for their advancement of technology to be at the core of strategic business initiatives.
Interested in cloud/AWS and opensource tech: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
Drives Agile and best practices, and values clean and extremely well-tested code.
